About Us

The Palm Team

Palm Industries Inc. originally started as a cleaning company called Palm Cleaning. It was born out of a need for a young husband and father seeing the need to provide for his wife and young growing family. Over the years Palm Cleaning expanded and grew to having dozens of employees on the southern Oregon coast with the team running around cleaning carpets, floors, windows and basically anything they could.

In 2013, the team expanded into Disaster and Restoration services. In 2018 Palm Industries Inc acquired Golden State Construction in Del Norte County California and A1-Commercial Cleaning in Grants Pass Oregon to continue the expansion of our services to be able to better provide our services to a larger area. Palm Industries now currently services the coastal towns from Klamath, California to Bandon, Oregon, over to the entire Rogue Valley and surrounding areas.

Disaster Cleanup and Restoration is now our core focus where we are dedicated to being the best Disaster and Restoration contractor to our team and our communities!

I started Palm Industries Incorporated out of the need for my community on the Oregon Coast to have a local company that provides restoration services in their time of need. The company has now expanded into serving Northern California and the Rogue Valley. I have always liked an adventure/challenge and restoration provides that, with every loss being different than the last, with ups and downs. I thrive on guiding our customers and providing support to my team. My biggest drive and accomplishment is providing opportunities for the Palm Team and seeing them succeed in providing our local communities top notch care, quality and precision in restoring damaged structures. When not at work you will find me enjoying time with my wife, Melissa, and our 4 teenagers exploring the outdoors, travelling or enjoying being at home and watching a movie together.

I began working for Palm Industries in 2015 as the office manager. I am a real nerd at heart so I love digging into financials and costs versus budgets, and comparing estimates, but I also love learning and experiencing new things so this is the perfect industry for me. Every project is different, and every customer has different concerns and needs, so that makes every project a new adventure of sorts. I have recently started accumulating restoration certifications, and I look forward to working with you and our team to put your home back together.

Since starting as a project coordinator in 2015, then working in the contents division and now in the office, it’s been my good fortune to work with the skilled and compassionate people of Palm Industries. Keeping our team healthy and safe when working with clients in stressful and hazardous environments and providing resources for growth and promotion within the organization are key for me. Outside of work, I’m usually with my partner and pooches hiking or chasing sticks in one of our beautiful rivers.

As the Construction Supervisor, I am on the front lines when disaster strikes. Being in this position allows me to utilize my servant’s heart and help restore your home. Being with Palm Industries since June of 2015, and having been in the construction industry for over 30 years, I have seen and done just about everything, but that doesn’t take away from my passion of helping others! In my spare time, you can usually find me tinkering, fixing, or building stuff for friends and family, and at times, even strangers.

As the Division Manager, it is my responsibility to build and lead a team that is ready to respond to any emergencies that come our way. Whether I am directly managing your project, or one of our Project Managers, I work to ensure that your home or business is fully restored with care, quality and precision. Since joining Palm Industries I have seen us expand into new territories and I am honored to be a part of that growth. Outside of work, I like to spend my time exploring beautiful Southern Oregon with my wife Shelby and our children.

I serve as the customer’s advocate and am responsible for the successful completion of the project. Communication and accountability are the two most important aspects of my work. I pride myself on having achieved lasting relationships with my clients that extend beyond the time we work together. When I am not working, you can find me outside, hiking and exploring with my family. We are so lucky to live in such a wonderful place as Southern Oregon.

Each and every client provides me with the opportunity for growth and connection as we work together to save and restore their personal belongings. While working with Palm I have gained multiple certifications through the IICRC, specializing in content management and restoration. I hope to help build the Contents Division of Palm into a leading service provider in our segment of the industry for both Palm and our fellow Restoration Contractors. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, getting outside while exploring some off-road trails with friends, and trying to lead by example for my wife and daughter.

I work with customers to develop a detailed inventory of their personal belongings that we will clean and restore. I am IICRC certified in fire and smoke restoration and look forward to additional certifications. Although this can be a tough job, I find it very rewarding being able to help people through this process.

My outside endeavors recently include growing the feathers back on my rescue bald Macaw parrot.

Often, I’m the first person to discuss restoring order with homeowners after they have experienced the unforeseen chaos of a fire or water damage. As a Project Manager, I prepare and implement a plan for restoring order and safety as quickly as possible. Since my birthday is right after the 4th of July, I am a firecracker of a hard worker. Having acquired 4 certifications since I started working with Palm in October of 2019, I enjoy being able to help turn this difficult process into more “ooo’s” and “aww’s” from clients.

Every time I meet a client, I thank them for entrusting us with their home and possessions. I also assure them that both myself and my team will be the positive force in a negative situation. Since joining Palm Industries in May of 2020, I have acquired many hats. I am the Contents, Cleaning, AND Warehouse Manager, and each hat comes with its own set of challenges. Outside of work, my wife and I have an online plant nursery. Fun Fact ALERT!: I used to be a Sound Tech Supervisor, and a Member of Leadership for a church in Southern California.
